April, 2008, El Destino Penthouse
Hi,
Just wanted to let you know we made it back safe and had an absolutely wonderful vacation. Your penthouse was beautiful and in a great location. We really appreciate you having all the amenities for a great experience. Little things like beach chairs and a cooler were great to have for exploring the many beaches.
We spent our last day at the Hacienda Guachipelin and had wild time. We got the all day adventure pass, and I think we ran out of adrenaline. If you get a chance the Canyon trip, (rappelling through waterfalls), and their Canopy trip is well worth it. Since they run their zip lines through the river canyon, it's much different than the Congo Trail.
This was truly a memorable family vacation and I will recommend your Penthouse to friends that are thinking of CR for a vacation.

Hi,
I wanted to connect with you again now that we are back. Both my husband and I thought your place was wonderful. It had the most beautiful view (even from bed... how spoiled are we?). It is wonderfully furnished, very comfortable bed, lovely towels for both the beach and for showering, great deck loungers, all the kitchen stuff you could want... basically all the amenities that you could want in a space that is a home away from home! The infinity pool was beautiful and a wonderful place to cool off after a long walk. The ocean swimming was beautiful too (but we did miss the waves we had at Playa Grande and Jaco). The maid (I think her name was Martha??) and her husband were wonderful. She kept the place and the yard in wonderful condition. What a treat to have someone else make our bed and get new towels for us! We had a delightful time in your Costa Rica location. We also enjoyed the TV after almost two weeks without any English TV it was wonderful to be able to relax at night with a movie or sit com. You had everything and more in your place when compared to the information on VRBO and your website.
Thank you for helping to make this the "Best Vacation Ever". I am telling everyone about your place. After I send this I plan to send you information to a good friend of mine who is starting to think about travel for next winter.

Thank you so much for your help during our problems in Costa Rica. I don't know how we could have survived without the assistance of Lillian. Especially the trip to San Jose was crucial in making our decision whether to have surgery or not. We did arrive in the US on 4 February and proceeded to look for doctors to evaluate my options……I have put this unfortunate incident behind me and both Paula and I look forward to our next vacation with you. Again, thank you for all your help. You will always be in our thoughts and heart.

Hi Britta,I just wanted to thank you again for everything you did while we visited Costa Rica. Our condo was beautiful and the view was amazing. I fell in love with your country and can't wait to visit again. Review Rating: 5/5Review Text: "This was my first trip to Costa Rica and I would love to go back. We were a group of 5 couples and we all fell in love with this house. The pictures do not due it justice. The house needs new pictures to show the new furniture and decor though out the house. The house keepers are great and please make sure you get them to cook for you. It was probably one of our best meals in Costa Rica. I will miss the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen!!!"

Dear Britta,
Kenneth was here yesterday and I wanted to tell you how happy I was with him and his work. Even though he said he speaks little English, in fact we had almost no difficulty understanding one another. I had a number of small jobs for him to do, all of which he did quickly and well.
As for Marisela, I have been remiss in not telling you that she does a good job when she's here. We have trouble communicating since, as you know, my Spanish is so limited, but she is very patient about it, occasionally teaching me the correct Spanish word for something..
You already know how much I value Jairo's help. I would have been lost without his help buying tires/rims in Liberia.
I know from experience that a good staff of people does not just happen; you're obviously hiring, managing and retaining the right people to make this possible.

Our family vacation at Casa Pelicano was the best vacation we've ever had! The view was breath taking and everything was just perfect. The pool, the jacuzzi, the house and grounds were gorgeous. It was a wonderful experience for all of us!!!!!! We hated to leave....

Our stay at "Casa Palombia" was a wonderful experience. The home is beautiful and the private beach was an added bonus. However, what made our stay really special was the care that we received from David and Angela. They are wonderful ambassadors for this home and for Costa Rica. Because of David and Angela, we felt safe and cared for. They were always available (day or night) to assist us and answer any of our questions. Both have such warm personalities and I can't compliment them enough.
Here is an example of how David went 'above the call of duty':
We casually mentioned that we had lost a contact lens in the pool. Without our asking, David took the time to search the pool filter and retrieved the lost contact lens. He didn't have to do this but we were definitely grateful that he did.
I would also like to thank you, personally, for all of your assistance. We look forward to returning to C.R. and you will be the first person that we call to arrange our accommodations.

Please know that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Costa Rica at Casa Los Monos and would return in a heartbeat if and when we plan another special vacation. The home is spectacular and we really grew to love Roberto too!

Britta--Just wanted to drop you a note and tell you how much the Daniels family enjoyed the "Casa Paraiso"--Marlene and Mini are jewels!!! They were so pleasant-and helpful. Our granddaughter really enjoyed the pool--At 3+ years, she is a water bug and the shape of the pool, which Mini kept spotless-really suited her "underwater" swimming.
We did enjoy the house--it suited us to a "T".
